1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, complete your V1 Assessment, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, phone number, athletic profile information (height, weight, 40-yard dash time, GPA, etc.), high school information, and any highlight film links you provide.

We also collect usage data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve V1Portal services — including calculating your V1 Score, matching you with college programs, and enabling coach outreach. We use your email to send service-related notifications and, with your consent, marketing communications.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Shared With Coaches

When you create a public profile on V1Portal, your athletic profile information is visible to college coaches and recruiters who access your profile link. This includes your name, position, stats, academic information, and film links. You can toggle your profile visibility at any time in your account settings.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission and storage. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@v1portal.com. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

6. Minors

V1Portal is intended for use by high school athletes who are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, we recommend that a parent or guardian review this policy. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. You may also opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
